The Fiber Resource Division of Green Bay Packaging Inc. is currently seeking a GIS/Technology Forester for the Central Arkansas area.

This position will assist in the development and maintenance of forest inventory data in an online GIS enterprise environment. Duties will include assisting in data organization and collection in ArcGIS Pro & ArcGIS Online for the facilitation of silvicultural and timber harvest decision making. The successful candidate be responsible for map creation and will perform periodic field work including timber cruising and analysis along with other miscellaneous forestry related duties and activities.

Qualified applicants should have completed a bachelor’s degree in Forestry with emphasis in GIS, Geospatial Technology or GIS. Or will be completing one of these degrees in the spring of 2023. They should also display excellent written and oral communication skills. It is also preferred that the candidate be proficient in using MS Office Suite. ESRI GIS Software and the ability to operate a GPS unit are required for consideration.
